Treasury Accountant
As a Treasury Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting requirements of the Group’s Treasury activities. You will also play a key role in driving the TMS implementation project while overseeing the daily liquidity planning processes managed by the Treasury Analyst.
Daily requirements
- Take ownership of the long-term cashflow forecasting process.
- Review the daily liquidity report, along with other ad-hoc/periodic reporting and month-end processes.
- Drive the implementation of current and future TMS developments.
- Support the preparation of materials for the Finance Committee, Board, and Audit Committee.
- Produce periodic FX risk analysis, collaborating with the wider Treasury and Procurement teams.
Key skills
- A qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS).
- Working knowledge and experience in Treasury Accounting under UK GAAP (FRS 102), especially in debt and derivatives, including hedge accounting.
- Between 2 and 3 years of experience in Treasury is desirable. Knowledge of cash management, cashflow forecasting, intercompany structures, and Treasury systems is essential.
- Strong Excel and other MS application skills.
- Ability to analyze and effectively present/communicate data.
