Transfer Pricing & International Tax Director

As part of their ambitious growth strategy, the organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to establish and oversee its Transfer Pricing, Tax Strategy and Tax Controversy – on a global scale. This newly created leadership role will report directly to the Head of Tax and play a key role in shaping the company’s tax strategy while fostering best-in-class innovation to future-proof the function.
You’ll also have the exciting opportunity to recruit and manage direct reports, ensuring the team is positioned for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global transfer pricing policies, including APA/MAP strategies, to align with business goals and ensure compliance with global regulations.
- Design and execute comprehensive tax strategies to optimize efficiencies and manage a sustainable effective tax rate (ETR).
- Build new transfer pricing systems, processes, and policies from the ground up, ensuring scalability and robustness.
- Collaborate with global outsourcing partners and shared service centre – to oversee transfer pricing documentation, reporting, and adherence to international tax requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks related to transfer pricing and international tax planning this includes leading on tax controversy and audits related to TP.
- Work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams to support business initiatives while ensuring alignment with tax objectives.
About You;
We’re looking for a results-driven leader who thrives in a greenfield environment and brings expertise in transfer pricing and tax strategy. Ideal candidates will have:
- A professional tax qualification (tax law or tax accounting) with Big 4 training preferred.
- A proven track record in transfer pricing and tax strategy.
- In house experience highly preferred
- Experience in establishing new tax functions or frameworks.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex tax concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- People management experience (preferred).
