I. SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Reporting will support the Vice President – Finance/CAO and demonstrate a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving and/or decision support with analyses and reports. Will be responsible for working on an independent basis developing the annual budget’s financial projections, modeling simulations and pro-forma budgets and financial reports and may assume a team lead role.

1. Analyze data and create reports on an ongoing or ad-hoc basis utilizing Microsoft Excel or other software with a creative, analytical approach to problem-solving and/or decision support.

1. To identify potential cost savings, additional income, and/or time savings.

2. Develop financial projections, modeling, simulations along with proforma budget and financial reports independently.

2. To provide decision support to potential projects and various YMCA business units.

3. Obtain an in-depth knowledge of Oracle CONNECT, Workday, Salesforce, AS400 and other software programs as they apply.

3. To ensure adequate knowledge of systems for gathering information.

4. Under the direction of the CAO, supervises the budgeting process:

· Monthly progress of individual branch budgets

· Preparation of guidelines

· Budget preparation and training

· Analyze budget proposals

· Budget reporting

4. The annual capital and operating plans are developed

5. Directs the preparation of annual financial statements, with the independent Certified Public Accountants

5. To meet City, State, and Federal disclosure regulations.

6. Internal and/or external compliance reporting relating to bonds, loans and other areas as required.

6. To ensure accurate and timely internal and external compliance reporting.

7. Work closely with branches and departments to ensure all needs are met.

7. Liaison with branches and departments to form an effective team that promotes a healthy, positive professional relationship for all parties.

8. Other duties as assigned.
