Group Tax Manager – Telecoms
Our client is a multinational telecoms group recruiting for a Group Tax Manager to join the in-house tax team located in central London.
As a Group Tax Manager, you will report to the European Tax Director and have two direct reports. This is an exciting opportunity for you to take ownership and continue to build out the tax function. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Reviewing the outsourced UK tax computations and working closely with the advisors.
- Partner with the advisors to ensure all the international tax compliance obligations are met for the EMEA region and other jurisdictions.
- Ensure timely reporting for both the Group’s IFRS and US GAAP tax reporting obligations.
- Support on financing and M&A tax matters.
- Strategic input into tax risk management with a particular focus on corporate tax.
- Deliver tax business partnering across the Group’s functions for the UK and US.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team.
To be considered for this position, you should be ACCA, ACA and/or CTA qualified with UK corporate and international tax experience. Both Big 4/Top 10 and in-house tax professionals will be considered for this position.

In return, you will receive a salary of £85,000-£105,000 base depending on your experience plus a discretionary bonus and a host of benefits. The tax team follow a hybrid pattern of 2 days in the office.
