Global Tax Reporting & Risk Specialist
This is well known and growing materials group with a truly global footprint.
This is a strategic role, where you will be responsible for improving and managing this groups key tax processes and have ownership of group tax reporting. The role will also have a very international and project lead focus, covering EMEA, LATAM and APAC.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, this position will be a key part of the Group Tax Team.
The primary objective is to manage the group tax reporting process with local finance teams, focusing on improving end-to-end processes related to tax risks, internal controls, technology and global awareness. You will be a main point of contact for large global divisions.
The role offers hybrid working, 2-3 days from home.
Highlight responsibilities;
- Tax accounting and reporting under IFRS, review of local country tax packages;
- Effective tax rate reconciliation;
- Coordinate the group’s CbCR and Pillar 2 reporting;
- Tax compliance coordination and automation;
- Set-up and maintain the group’s tax guidelines, review adherence to guidelines and procedures;
- Contribute to the improving and monitoring of tax control framework;
- Provide operational tax support to the Financial Shared Services Centre;
About you;
- Tax or accounting qualification
- Ideally previous in-house experience
- Experience with tax reporting under IFRS
- Experience in process improvement preferred
- Familiarity with control frameworks
- Understanding of finance and tax-related technology systems
