Job Overview

Our client, a global industry leading Fintech organization is seeking a Director of Finance leader to oversee two manufacturing-related business units (combined revenues up to $1B). The role involves managing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and driving financial performance. A strong background in FP&A and familiarity with manufacturing processes is essential. This position leads a team of two direct reports, supported by offshore resources contributing to transformation, AI, and upskilling initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to achieve budget targets and optimize capital investments.
  • Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to streamline financial processes.
  • Provide financial insights and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the allocation of costs and evaluation of pricing strategies for new services or products.
  • Manage and control budgets, monitoring adherence and identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Assist in month-end close activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity and accurate analysis in financial reports.
  • Monitor cash resource management and improve cost structures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Support transformation initiatives to enhance operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of finance professionals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters, MBA or CPA is a plus)
  • 8 – 10 years of finance experience, with 3+ years of proven leadership, people management and team building skills
  • Extensive knowledge of financial management, planning, and GAAP principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with presentations.
  • Experience in designing and implementing process improvements.
