Audit Assistant Manager
My client is a top international Accountancy Practice boosting their Southampton-based Audit team. They are looking to strengthen the function primarily at the Assistant Manager level. This is across sectors from retail through to education, with variance in size from smaller local businesses to national and international clients, which could also provide exciting travel opportunities.

Main responsibilities:
- Understand audit assignment budgets and objectives to assist with planning and pre-assignment discussions
- Take active involvement with delegation of work, training juniors, and reviewing work
- Execute audit engagements to the high quality standard set across the firm, being adaptable and solution oriented as needed
- Enhance your client-facing responsibilities in advising, responding to queries and liaising with senior management
- Reporting and following up at the tail end of the Audit process
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Expertise with FRS 101 & FRS 102, UK GAAP principles generally, IFRS is helpful
- Experience in a regional Practice servicing predominantly SME clients
- Resides in or commutable to Southampton
- Strong self-starter who values personal development
